Big Ben& Westminster Abbey
The Changing of the Guard (or Guard Mounting) is a meticulously choreographed military hand-over that has remained largely unchanged since the 17th century. It is a transition of responsibility from the Old Guard (those currently on duty) to the New Guard (those arriving to take over).
Note: The time & day to see this famous event subject to change according to the official schedule posted by Buckingham Palace
TOWER OF LONDON, TOWER BRIDGE & LONDON BRIDGE
This is a 900-year-old UNESCO World Heritage site that has served as a royal palace, a fortress, and a notorious prison
THE TOWER BRIDGE & LONDON BRIDGE
It is a common "tourist trap" in London to confuse Tower Bridge (the iconic one that opens up) with London Bridge (the functional, concrete one next to it). They are neighbors, but they offer very different experiences.
Morning visit to historic OXFORD
Oxford, home of one of the finest universities in the world, is a city where history isn't just in the museums—it's the very air you breathe. Whether you're here for the "dreaming spires," the Harry Potter-esque libraries, or the world-class museums, there is plenty happening. Our local guide will only have time to share a few highlights.
Famous quotes about the Cotswolds often emphasize its idyllic, timeless, and rural character, highlighting its, stone-built villages, rolling hills, and rich sheep-farming history. It is frequently described as the "heart of England" and a place of immense beauty.
The Cotswolds is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in south-central England, covering nearly 800 square miles across five counties. If London is the high-energy heart of the UK, the Cotswolds is its soul—a landscape of rolling green hills, ancient woodlands, and golden-stone villages that look like they’ve been frozen in the 18th century.
If you only have a few hours, prioritize these world-famous objects:
The Rosetta Stone (Room 4): The key that unlocked ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs.
The Parthenon Sculptures (Room 18): Also known as the "Elgin Marbles," these classical Greek sculptures once adorned the Acropolis in Athens.
The Sutton Hoo Ship Burial (Room 41): Incredible Anglo-Saxon treasures, including the iconic iron helmet.
The Lewis Chessmen (Room 40): 12th-century chess pieces carved from walrus ivory and whale teeth.
Egyptian Mummies (Rooms 62–63): One of the most extensive collections of ancient Egyptian funerary art outside of Cairo.
AS THE HOME TEAM, THE COMMANDERS WILL HOST AN INTERACTIVE FANSITE IN LONDON ON THE DAYS PRIOR TO THE GAME ... TO HELP US GET REVVED UP FOR THE GAME, WE WILL VISIT THIS SITE AND MEET MANY OTHER COMMANDERS FANS!

LATE EVENING (OPTIONAL): ATTEND A COMMANDERS PEP RALLY
On this night before the game, official & unofficial Commander Pep Rallies will be going on throughout London.
The picture below was taken last season at a fan rally in Madrid.
Open air grills in the stadium parking lot? That is NOT going to happen- its not allowed in Europe. But we will just take a page from the long standing English football (Soccer) fans in London-- FIND A GOOD LOCAL PUB!
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, opened in April 2019 in North London, is a state-of-the-art 62,850-capacity venue designed by Populous. It is the largest club stadium in London, featuring the UK's largest single-tier stand, a retractable grass pitch with an artificial surface beneath for NFL games, and numerous, diverse food outlets.
Information regarding seating -- All of our travelers will enjoy "preferred seating" at the stadium during the game. Preferred falls somewhere on the scale between luxury at one end and cheap at the other. In 2025, our Commanders fans in Madrid were VERY happy with their seats.
MORNING VISIT TO STONEHENGE
Physically, Stonehenge is a massive prehistoric stone circle located on the Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England. It’s an architectural feat that seems almost impossible for a culture that hadn't invented the wheel or discovered iron.
Here is a breakdown of what makes up the monument:
The monument we see today is a "ruin" of what was once a complete, interlocking circle. It consists of two main types of stone:
The Sarsens (The Big Ones): These are massive silcrete boulders brought from the Marlborough Downs (20 miles away). The largest, the Heel Stone, weighs about 30 tons.
The Bluestones (The Small Ones): These smaller stones (about 2–4 tons each) are chemically linked to the Preseli Hills in Wales—over 150 miles away. How they were transported remains one of history's greatest debates.
The Lintels: Stonehenge is unique because it features "trilithons"—two vertical stones supporting a horizontal one. These were joined using mortise and tenon joints, a woodworking technique applied to stone.
Bath is the only city in the UK designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site in its entirety. Built from the honey-colored Bath stone, it feels like a film set—which is why it’s a favorite for Bridgerton and Jane Austen adaptations.
The city's namesake is one of the best-preserved Roman remains in the world.
The Experience: You can walk on the original Roman pavements and see the Great Bath, still filled with steaming water from the UK's only natural hot spring.
